Robyn's Artistic Influences

Robyn has been a student and performer of Butoh since 2016. Her first teacher was Maureen Freehill. She later studied as part of her B.A. in Dance education at the Evergreen State College - with Diego Pinon, Joan Laage, Sheri Brown, Diana Garcia.

She later joined the DAIPAN Collective and is still a contributing member of this Non-Profit in Seattle WA. You can visit their website to learn more at https://www.daipanbutohcollective.com/

She is also a coproducer of the Salish Sea Butoh Festival - and has been helping to bring teachers from all over the world to Port Townsend Washington. You can learn more about this event at https://www.salishseabutoh.com/

Robyn continues her studies and performance art in Seattle and abroad  as she is evolving in her dance ad offerings to serve the with offering depth communities of practice and experience.
