Body-Led Birth: A Class for Couples
October 3rd · Seattle · Time TBD
Labor is not something that happens to you while your partner stands nearby holding a hospital bag. It's something you move through, together, and most couples walk in with zero idea what that actually looks like in real time.
That's what this class is for.
We'll get into the real signs of labor (not the Hollywood version), how to tell early labor from "okay, it's actually happening," and when to pick up the phone and call your provider, midwife, or doula. But more than that, we're going to practice — hands-on, on your feet, moving through positions and touch and support techniques your partner can actually use when it counts. Not just read about. Use.
You'll walk through what each stage of labor tends to feel like, physically and emotionally, so none of it catches you off guard. And you'll leave knowing how to stay connected to each other when things get intense, instead of freezing up or feeling helpless.
Birth partners — this one's for you too. Come ready to move.
